With dedicated processor for each port, the KVM switch isolates secured/unsecured systems and prevents data transfer between computers. Direct soldering prevents tampering of the circuit board level components. The Audio switching feature allows sharing of speakers and microphones between computers.
Featured front panel dedicated port selectors allow switching from one computer to the next. In addition, a single computer port can be controlled by each button. Connection between the console and corresponding computer is indicated by a LED above each port selector. By pushing the port selector, the LED above it illuminates.
Absence of buffer memory eliminates accidental transfer of keystrokes or other data when switching between systems. The KVM switch features non-programmable firmware that prevents tampering of the KVM logic. In addition, tamper-evident seals are placed on both sides of the enclosure indicating if the switch has been tampered with.
The DVI-D secure KVM switch conforms to ALC_FLR1.3 control standards for quality and security assurance (NIAP EAL4+). In addition, it meets Protection Profile v1.2 conformance security standards (released in August 2008) for peripheral sharing devices.
With sturdy metal enclosure, the KVM switch can be placed under your monitor or other desk item. In addition, the KVM switch can also be placed on your desktop or mounted to 19” server rack (1U installation).
